GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
This role would be either an LPN or RN who is looking for an administrative position with some cross covering into the clinical roles when needed for staff PTO occurrences. They would oversee all areas - Front Desk, Lab, Nursing, and MA,
The Clinic Nurse Manager works under supervision and in conjunction with the Director of Clinic Operations and is responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating the daily operations of assigned clinics to ensure quality patient care. Supervises staff to provide adequate staffing and professional work environment promoting ongoing communication and learning.

Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4:30PM
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Administrative
- Strives to exhibit the organization's standards in all areas of leadership.
- Assists Human Resources in screening of applicants and interviewing of candidates, when necessary.
- In Conjunction with the Director of Clinical Operations and COO, oversees scheduling to identify staffing needs and utilize resources effectively.
- In conjunction with the Director of Clinical Operations and COO establishes effective working relationships with physicians, patients and patient's families.
- Review and approve timecards and overtime for all positions in the clinic except APPs, and MDs.
- Serves as the first point of escalation in addressing patient complaints.
- Works in conjunction with Director of Purchasing and Facilities Director for clinic's supplies, repairs, and facility maintenance.
- In assistance with the Director of Clinic Operations and various members of the Finance team, assists with monthly reconciliation of financial statements and general ledger transaction
- In assistance with the Director of Clinic Operations and various members of the finance team, assists with annual formulation of assigned operating budgets.
- Supervise daily reconciliations and make daily deposits.
- Assists administration with special projects, as qualified when needed.
- Function as the onsite super-user for EMR issues, escalating to support when needed.
- Oversee all operations of Clinic (front office, back office, Clinical and supplies)
- Assists various administration members with proformas, business plans, ROI, etc.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Clinical
- Provides general nursing care in clinic setting as required/needed.
- Serve as a backup, including filling in for providers as needed.
- Serve as a trainer and preceptor for all APP new hires to include scheduling training and signing off on competencies.
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Observes, records and reports patient's condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to physicians.
- Educates patients and family about diagnostic procedures and medications. Teaches patient how to do some of his own care.
- Screens patients for appropriate information. Instructs patients in collection of samples and tests.
- Maintain and review patient records, charts and other pertinent information. Posts tests and exam results.
- Responds to and refers incoming patient and physician phone calls.
- Responsible for all surgery orders to include History and Physical, prescriptions and Lab orders.
- Adheres to infection control/safety guidelines and confidentiality policies.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned, including the role of a post-op clinic provider.
Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
The formal education equivalent to a four year college degree, plus 2 years related experience and/or training, and 1 to 6 months related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of professional nursing theories, concepts, and methods. EMR/HER experience with 1 year in medical office setting preferred. Urology experience a plus.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
State of Arkansas Registered Nurse license or LPN license. ACLS/BLS certification required.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and policy/procedure manuals; Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
USE OF MACHINES, EQUIPMENT AND/OR COMPUTERS
Regular use of complex machines and equipment (desktop/laptop computer and software, road and production machines and equipment, driver's license/cdl, etc.)
